may i ask what kind of original material you have?
the julia stegner picture comes very close to the look indeed, but it's easier to do with photography than on film.
if i could choose, i would pick italian actress sonia bergamasco:

i hope me speaking of "original" was not misleading.
i have some french mags/eds from the late 50's. jardins des modes (her bridal cover, for ex) + elle. they're too fragile to shove under my scanner. and they're stuffed at my parents anyway. it really ain't such a big deal.
i was quite into nico a few years ago. more into her persona than into her music though. i respect and admire it, and of course, i have every album and a gazillion bootlegs, but i never played them much and haven't in ages.

still, i'm very much looking forward to the movie. i don't think it's already in production, is it?

Has anyone seen her at the film "La cicatrice intérieure" by his most beloved boyfriend Philippe Darrel?? Those films give you the exact dose of beauty, darkness and death... Exactly what she stands for...
I would have loved to see her in a Vogue editorial, of course Vogue France, shot by Ines van Lambsveerde and Vinoodth Matadin... Nico wearing Balenciaga, Chanel (she did work for Mademoiselle and even had an affaire with her), Helmut Lang and Viktor & Rolf... Black & white pictures only...

Well, I don't prefer to remember Nico with pictures like this... in the worst state heroin can take a human being... So please, try to post only the "beautiful" Nico... just for keeping it digestible.

i think the picture cautious lip posted is digestible, of course there is a huge difference between early nico and late nico, but that's part of her (tragic) development and part of what makes her so fascinating.
