Pavement

So influential..to the whole britpop era and also influential to other bands..yet so underrated!
Anybody like them..? Sadly I only recently discovered them thanks to my teacher, ha.
But they're great..!

I really like them! They haven't had as much impact on me as some other bands, but they are definitely an essential part of my record collection.
And i was really happy when one day in history class i was bored so i doodled "pavement" on my notes and the teacher passed by and said, "oh, you like pavement? Great band!" - then to add, "i thought kids these days only listened to stuff like the used..."
Haha, never!

^^I agree Twilight Fairy, where I am also, you rarely hear their name being mentionned...
and I also think they were very influential..

I sence a lot of their influence in The Strokes for example...

Very good band,
I am getting to know their music more and more and really enjoying it.

I guess there's something about history teachers, huh? Haha. My teacher's pretty obsessed about music and is in a band. He likes a lot of genres. He told us he has a 500 something record collection. i envy that. Mine is getting up to 100!

I know..my teacher also collects vinyl records and has 150 ..and I think he has a countless amount of CDs since he's been buying them for what, 14 years now?
