The Strokes

Well, I am pretty over the moon with The Strokes, as some of you may know. Anyway, I think it's about time for a thread on them. I think they have great style, and they're pretty easy on the eyes too. Most importantly, imho, they have created some of the best music I have ever had the luck to hear. Please share your opinions, even if you don't like them because I'd be interested to hear what everyone thinks. I hope these pictures show up and continue to show up...

I might not be giving them the benefit of doubt...they might actually have dressed themselves

I think their style is adorable, and I really couldn't care less whether they are style/unstyled/contrived/uncontrived. I like it.

not to mention I have a great deal of respect for anyone who can wear tapered trousers and erm...look good in them.

Thanks for the pics, opra. I knew you would appreciate this thread. They aren't styled, btw, and I love Julian in the Ghostbuster shirt. Oh, yes, and how could I forget their shoes! They were talking about them in an article. Albert has 19, almost all Converse, the rest have like 2 pairs, and Nikolai has one.
