i saw that book a few weeks ago and loved it!

i preordered it on amazon last year before it came out (i'm crazy) and received it in may. i love it so much. some contributors include: ahmet zappa, mike watt, jim o'rourke, sue de beer and kate spade. it's really cheap (like, $15 or so american) and really pretty. i recommend it.

don't be silly, anna...i would love to get a tape from you! and i'm sure everyone else would too..the mystery is part of the fun!!

hmm...i don't really understand what you mean. my idea is to make tapes/cds the old fashioned way (with your stereo or just burn, whatever) and then send them through the mail to each other. myself and mulletproof are going to be moderating the email account and matching people up randomly (in as much as we can; we are going to try to match people based on their likes and dislikes, but beyond that, totally randomly) to send mixes to. the deadline will be the end of august but we'll talk more about that when we have enough people participating. if you'd like to participate, copy and paste this (below) into an email, fill it out and send it to fashionspotmixproject@gmail.com:
