Avril: Not A Britney Fan

Avril Lavigne has suggested that Britney Spears shouldn’t blame the paparazzi for her recent problems because the media is such a core part of being famous - the problems really lie closer to home.

Avril said recently: “What’s happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person. If you want a piece of this business you have to be able to deal with it.”

“You can’t complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness because that’s the job.”

She added that Britney must have chosen to party in the public eye because she likes to go out drinking too but “no one really gets to know”.

She's got a point I guess. But she and Britney are on a totally different level of fame. On a separate topic, I had to laugh when I saw her on the front cover of Arena in a tiny skirt and stilettos. Oh how times change hey Avril?!

Avrils new song is catchy, but what she is now is everything she was against a couple years back. I guess she changed with age, but anyways... I still love Britney.. I cant help it.

I like the fact that Avril re-invented herself. She's outgrown the rebellious teenager b.s. and trying on a more mature persona. Her new style is a good change, as well...

...sounds like someone with her feet on the ground moreso than her head in the clouds. I'd much rather spend an hour with the person who made that statement than Britney (if I had to ).

i find her personality intolerable. she somehow manages to contradict herself every time she opens her mouth. i just find that she tries way to hard to appear "cool" and just ends up looking like a tool. but again thats just my opinion.

^^ It's not yours only. I think so too. She tries too hard and I think she's sort of a poser. Besides, it's almost as if she's trying to attack Britney alone while most celebrities complain about paparazzi.

^^ i always found it so funny when she would talk about what a scrapper she was, always getting into bar fights. my sisters and i would joke how we wouldn't mind getting into a fight with her, mind you none of us would ever get into a fist fight in a million years... but for avril we would make an exception

And Britney never spoke out about the whole thing , nor did she ever publicaly blamed the thing on paparazi... besides beating em up with a stick, which might be just a hoby or something.
