Cameron Diaz has decided to turn 'ugly' for her next movie role, in which she will play a woman who has her life ruined by undergoing cosmetic surgery that went wrong.
The Charlie's Angels beauty is known for her stunning looks and has dated a string of famous men, including actor Jared Leto and singer Justin Timberlake.
But she is hoping her latest role will get people to concentrate on her acting skills instead.
A source said: "Cameron wants a serious role that isn’t about her looking cute and this role is just that, and much more.
"The character has terrible facial disfigurement which will require Cameron to sit through hours of make-up. It’s a really hard role and it’s going to be a big challenge for Cameron."

I love Cameron, but to be honest... she isn't one of those actresses who go for something like this and I don't think that she'll do that great a job...
