NEW YORK (AP) -- Demi Moore didn't quite answer the question.
Asked about tabloid stories saying she's pregnant, the 42-year-old actress told People magazine: "The rumors are just that: rumors."
Moore's publicist, Stephen Huvane, issued this statement: "Having another child is something Demi would like to do, but she cannot at this time say she is pregnant."
A call to Huvane Friday by The Associated Press wasn't immediately returned.
Earlier in the week, the would-be father, 27-year-old Ashton Kutcher, joked about the reports. At a news conference promoting his new movie, "Guess Who," he said: "Why am I the last person to find out everything? I'm going to be a daddy? God, no one tells me anything."
Moore and her second husband, Bruce Willis, divorced in 2000. They have three daughters.
She recently finished shooting the thriller "Half Light." Her films also include "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and "G.I. Jane."
Kutcher has an MTV prank show, "Punk'd," and co-stars in the Fox sitcom "That '70s Show."

most women dont have their menopause until they are late 50's. I had an aunt who had a baby naterally at 52 it can happen. Here in england it is really not uncommon for women to have babys at that age. my mum is 42 and she has lots fo friends of a simular age who have young children.
Lord, I had no idea. The thought of Ashton being a dad....he's just so....12 years old! I can't stand him! I've never once been able to sit through five minutes of Punk'd. How horrendous to have another one of him running around. Thumbs up to Demi though, is she can get pregnant at that age, she can do anything, haha

i think they're so cute together and props to them for making the relationship last when no-one thought it would! i couldn't stand Ashton either, but he's really grown on me lately.
