BLOW HOSPITALIZED: Isabella Blow, Tatler's fashion director, has been hospitalized in London after a fall, and is in very serious condition, according to industry sources. A spokeswoman for Tatler would not confirm reports of her hospitalization, but she said Blow was currently "away" from her job, and that the Tatler staff was looking forward to her return. "She is very much a part of the Tatler team," the spokeswoman said Monday. While the circumstances of her fall could not be learned, one source close to Blow said she had her immediate family around her and that friends and family were hoping for a full recovery. Blow, known as Issy, is a close friend and muse of milliner Philip Treacy, and is famous for spotting and promoting young talent. She was an early supporter of Alexander McQueen, buying his entire graduate collection, and the two remain close friends. A fixture in the front row of fashion shows in the U.S. and Europe, she is never without a flamboyant Treacy design on her head.
