Jessica Simpson & John Mayer: Dating!


The National Enquirer was the first to break the news of John Mayer's courtship of Jessica Simpson.
We were a tad skeptical. However, when Simpson revealed during a radio interview in Texas recently that she had already heard Mayer's new album, we got all crazy in love and rang the alarm in our overactive brain.
Mayer's new album is not out until next month, but Simpson's already gotten a preview of the disc as she's shared many romantic (and private) dates with the troubadour.
Now, Us Weekly is reporting in their new issue (out this week) that Simpson has exclusively revealed [her fondness of Mayer] to the magazine.
Sources tell PerezHilton.com that Simpson gave a statement to Us Weekly not denying the relationship and saying that Mayer was great and that she wanted to "keep it private" (read between the lines).
We guess they probably won't make their affair public at the MTV VMAs this Thursday!

His lyrics are sweet and all, but I just do not get his appeall. In college, I was friends with his ex-girlfriend (they dated in High School), and she said he was a "dork." She said nice things about him too though!

Anyway, I guess they are cute together. I could see him treating her well.

I heard a few days ago that John Mayer had to cancel some tour dates due to laryngitis....
then I heard today Jess Simpson has the same thing....

John Mayer Infects Jessica Simpson!!!


It doesn't take a genius to put two and two together and get ONE really interesting non-coincidence!
As we reported earlier, Jessica Simpson and fellow musician John Mayer are a hot new couple.
The two aren't confirming their relationship just yet...because they can't!
Why?
Both Jessica and John have laryngitis!!!!
Simpson had to postpone many promotional appearances for her new album, A Public Affair, out this week.
And, Mayer had to cancel a concert in Connecticut this past weekend.
John is offering fans refunds, though.
Let's hope laryngitis is the only illness Jess and John are swapping!!
We kinda like these two together. In many ways, John is the anti-Nick, and that's what makes him so appealing to Jessica.
