Surgically enhanced comedienne JOAN RIVERS has ridiculed Hollywood veteran ROBERT REDFORD for allegedly being the victim of a terrible face-lift.
The 72-year-old funnywoman, a huge fan of surgical improvements, insists the BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID actor has not benefited from his "obvious" cosmetic work.
She tell website THE SCOOP, "Robert Redford had such a bad job. God, whoever did him should be ashamed - or maybe he left it too long so it's much more obvious."
Redford's spokesperson dismissed the aged star's snipes, saying, "I'm not going to dignify that with a comment."
*sigh* Talk about throwing stones when one lives in a glass house.
Joan has her funny moments & all but ehh... she needs to fall back on this one.

I saw Burt Reynolds at a movie premiere (on tv), and it was obvious he had just had plastic surgery. Even my dad commented to me, "That looks terrible! It looks like he's wearing a plastic mask!"
Redford had plastic surgery?! What's he thinking? He's the epiphany of a sexy older man (he looks a heck of a lot better than Sean Connery, and that man still gets action). Aww, Robert, why, why?
With all that surgery, I'm surprised Joan Rivers can still talk...
If anyone has a pic, please do post...much appreciated

if you go back through his films in the past 20 years. it looks like he had at least resurfacing work quite a long time ago. it looks like he has been messing with his face for a while.
i find it sort of interesting when "pretty" men run up against the same feelings that typically women have about ageing. or at least to hear it verbalized. like Iggy Pop, whether you find him attractive or not, was known for being a sexy boy when he was young. and in one interview he talks about ageing and losing his babyfat in his face in his late twenties. and how that was a really hard time for him.
i dunno, just find it interesting.
