THERE'S a new couple in La La Land: Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson are officially an item.

The screen siren and the brooding heart-throb have been making the movie The Black Dahlia together and were seen all over each other at the recent London Live 8 concert.

Johansson missed most of the action on stage because she was busy backstage with Hartnett. The Pearl Harbour star has been linked with a string of babes after splitting with his childhood sweetheart Ellen Fenster.

Among them have been our own Natalie Imbruglia, Kirsten Dunst and Tom Cruise's wife to be Katie Holmes.


Johansson, of course, was reportedly recently booted from the Mission Impossible 3 film by Cruise because she wouldn't convert to Scientology. Katie Holmes is now considered a shoo-in for the role. - From The Sunday Telegraph

Actually, Johansson has openly admitted that it wasn't the case...she had other projects... believe me, if Tom started to boot anybody from his films who aren't Scientologists, he'd have about half of Hollywood against him.

The only reason I would ever watch Pearl Harbor again would be to see Josh in it.
