(New York, June 29, 2004) - Star magazine reveals that Mary-Kate Olsen- who along with twin sister Ashley, form a multi-millionaire power duo-is being treated for a cocaine addiction in an exclusive facility in Utah.

Mary-Kate is currently residing at the exclusive Cirque Lodge in Utah, which is known for its scenic mountain views and a new-age, intensive-therapy approach to treating drug addiction. She was checked in by her father Dave Olsen on June 11, and spent her 18th birthday there by herself on June 13.

The recommended 30-day program costs $29,850, and patients are free to come and go as they please, if their counselor agrees to give them a pass.

The facility's website says it treats eating disorders in addition to drug and alcohol addictions. As it's been widely reported, Mary-Kate is also battling anorexia.

didn't someone on this site actually say a while back that she knew their group and knew they were doing drugs?! I think it was in the other MKA thread.

But, magazines like that speculate a hell of a lot.

I think someone said that they smoked weed. It's non-addictive so I doubt someone would be sent to rehab over it.

I know it sounds awful but i really wouldn't be suprised if it was coke-i mean in celeb circles its uncommon not to do it.

She never finished any of her sentences. Ashley would have to do it.

Aww how sad...and to think that they would be any different...sad that MK has to endure the press...

So many celebs do it..just people dont really know about it...but thats why its not too shocking for me...I just thought she'd be diff from the other child stars here. Hopefully she doesnt get washed up like them.

I went to a friends party in Montreal and ben Afleck was there. He was sniffing nose candy every 5 minutes! I was shocked because I had the pre-concieved idea that he was one of those american good boys.

It grossed me out too. Doing drugs is gross

I hope that she DOESN'T use cocaine - I have no issues with pot, as it's not addictive, and after all, I'm in a university, and needless to say, pot isn't exactly a rarity on college campuses. Personally I'm not a fan of drugs - my deviances go towards drinking only, but I know people that've used a variety of drugs from pot, to cocaine, mushrooms...

However, it's also not completely uncommon to hear of people doing cocaine as well.

Still, hopefully this isn't true, but I ultimately won't be surprised if it turns out to be true - it'd be a little sad, though, because I expected her to be the kind to turn down such "harder" drugs. Ah well. Hopefully it isn't true and she won't perhaps turn to something like heroin...

They were ok on Oprah, actually. They both seem really shy in interviews, so I think that was part of it - I have it downloaded on my computer and I just re-watched it today.
