Michael Phelps +Amanda Beard and/or Lily Donaldson?

BEIJING, Aug. 16 -- American swimmer Michael Phelps , who has won seven golds in Beijing , became the most decorated athlete in Olympic history and received lots of love from female fans. But who is Phelps'girl?
Paparazzi reporters so far have pinpointed two girls as swimming prodigy Phelps' girlfriend. The first is Phelps' hot teammate Amanda Beard and the second is charming British model Lily Donaldson.
Together with Phelps, swimmer Amanda Beard also represented U.S. participating in the Olympic Games held in Beijing, though so far this hot swimmer pocketed no gold.
21-year-old Lily Donaldson is even hotter and ranked as one of the top 8 models in the fashion world. Lily Donaldson even replaced British supermodel Kate Moss as the "younger face" speaking for Burberry in 2007.
So she's not just content to rule the fashion world then?
I like Lily, so I can't say anything bad although I think she has him beat in the looks department. In the four years since the Athens games either my perception or Phelp's features have changed....still not sure which.

Awwww, I'd like to be lame and say 'Nooooo! He's miiiiiine!', but if it's true, I'm happy for him. Lily D. is beautiful and seems like a decent human being. I've heard that he's supposed to be a fantastic guy, so good for them.

It's kind of weird that Carine does that... Vogue Paris was like obsessed with Mariacarla and then poof! nothing...
Anyway I think this report is BS, maybe Michael will be more attractive to girls with his prestige but he still isn't all that in the looks department. And how the hell would Lily Donaldson meet him? He's been living in Michigan and Maryland.

yeah I agree. Michael Phelps may be nice and an Olympic medalist, but he's not exactly the brightest crayon in the box. I'm not sure I really buy this "story"....
It was posted somewhere, ontd, maybe, that they met on a recent photoshoot and both are repped by IMG. This would help raise Lily's celebrity status than Phelps honestly...

Yeah it would help Lily but he just doesn't seem cosmopolitan enough for her or her crowd that she enjoys hanging with. Not that it's a bad thing, just strange to believe...
Unless Lily is going to be moving to Baltimore and willing to hang out around pools I don't understand how they have any time to spend together. Swimmers get almost no break from swimming until they retire.
As for Amanda, hot or not she's past her swimming prime and I don't really see the two as compatible.
