Am I the only one who isn't very shocked with Tara's body?
She's lost a lot of weight, yes, and her body does look the best, but after so many liposuction operations and without photoshop most celebrities don't have very impressive bodies.
I don't think she looks that bad- but not as hot as she was a little ways back...I live at the beach and see lots of worse sights on any given day...But when you compare now to about a year ago- she was really just about at the point of no return there, so she really did make an impressive comback, if you factor that in...

It has been argued that images of unhealthily thin stars in the media have encouraged anorexic behaviour in impressionable young women. But a study published in The American Journal of Psychiatry suggests that the brains of anorexia sufferers behave differently to those of the rest of the population and that certain people are born with a susceptibility to develop the condition.
Maybe I am missing something here, but I think this article is kinda silly.
The study shows Anorexia has biological factors and that there is a predisposition to developing it. Which is fine, and not exactly a new theory. But because of this, we are supposed to believe that being bombarded with thin images in the media has no negative effect on young impressionable girls, eating-disordered or not?
How does it conclude from the results of this study that our thin-obsessed culture (including models/celebs) aren't an encouraging and detrimental influence?
(As this blog says, how does proving A causes B, disprove that C can also cause (or, in this case, at least contribute) to B?)

I would guess that the genetic component would be a predisposition toward anxious overachievement. Ergo, if property A is a highly desired property for women in society, the anxious overachievers will be more likely to acquire that property, regardless of what it is. In groups of individuals there will always be competition - how do you protect individuals from hurting themselves in order to achieve?

tara is so gross! Having a lipo when it's not lifethreatning fat is such a downfall, imo..
lipo cant help when you have so much that its life threatening, you need bypass surgery since theres a limit to how much fat they can take out. Typically size 4-10 is good for lipo.
Maybe it's the tan that's making Tara look so thin, imagine if Vlada got a full body tan, she'd look even thinner. Her fair complexion has more of an "albedo" effect, whereby more light bounces off her making her legs look wider, if she got a tan she'd look like death. I think Tara's tan is more responsible for her looking so thin. Though clearly she has lost A LOT of weight, does anyone remember how healthy she looked in her crazy reality show "Taradise" <--- No I did not watch it, but I remember she looked a lot healthier then.
yes KK looks great!!
re Tara- I feel like she was really skinny a number of yrs ago..didn't she struggle with anorexia after her break up w Carson Daly?
found this pic circ 2001- she looks quite thin
