Well the name was familiar but the pics helped

She was the first gymnast to receive a 10 in an official contest- it was at the Montreal Olympics, back in the '70's. She's Romanian and a major legend in my country. However, she fled to USA in the '80's, in order to escape communism. She married the American gymnast Bart Connor.


Congratulations to her and her husband. I'm sure it's not easy to have a baby at her age . Maybe the child will be a gymnastics champion, who knows...

Ha ha! Never noticed you were Romanian Oanadobre! I love the place and am scared that it will become too discovered soon. Still it will be good for the people if tourism happens. I have never seen so many beautiful people in my life -and I have been to Scandinavia and know Italy well. I think it is because of the ethnic mix.
