The National Enquirer is claiming that Nick Lachey proposed to his girlfriend, MTV talking head Vanessa Minnillo.

Nick Lachey has popped the question to gorgeous girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo - and the couple plan to marry this spring.

"They're moving forward with plans for an April wedding," a close friend told The ENQUIRER. The engagement comes slightly more than a year after Nick, 33, and Jessica Simpson announced their split. Now Nick and Vanessa are mulling destinations for their wedding and honeymoon, disclosed a friend.
