I'm sorry, but Heidi Fleiss never looked in her prime to me anyway. I think Nicole would be great in the role, regardless of age. It's always cool to see actresses try to go out of the general arena of what they are type casted for.

i think the first 2 words in the story ("Hollywood Megastar") pose a sort of contradiction to the phrase "past her prime".

*rolls eyes* i think this story is rat drivel.

Swank replaces Kidman in film on former prostitute

LOS ANGELES: Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman has reportedly been replaced by Hillary Swank in a movie based on the life of former prostitute Heidi Fliess.

Fleiss was a Hollywood madam who boasted having a vast string of celebrity clients. Kidman was reportedly taken out because she is too old. The producers instead opted for the younger two-time Oscar winner Swank.

Fliess said, “It had something to do with age. She'd have to play a 22-year-old, and she's nearly 40.”

Kidman's spokesperson, however, insists the actress pulled out of the movie: “At some point a long time ago Nicole had expressed some interest in it. But she was never attached to it and is no longer even considering it.”

Am I the only one that isn't able to see Nicole slipping into this role, anyway? I just could never equate those two, no matter Nicole's acting abilities. I think Hilary will be able to pull it off better.

I think they thought Nicole wasn't quite...whorish...enough to be a prostitute. I cant picture Nicole in a one-on-one.

though I must admit I'd prefer her not to play that role
