Peaches Geldof accused of shoplifting £500 Victim dress

i have no idea who this person is but i know what Victim is and i know the owner and creator Mei Hui Liu....and indeed this is their livliehood. who the hell doesn't realise they've walked out with £500 dress without paying?! that excuse is so lame.

Peaches Geldof accused of leaving shop without paying for £500 dress
EXCLUSIVE: SHE APOLOGISES FOR 'MIX-UP'

Sir Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches was last night accused of leaving a shop with a £500 dress without paying for it.
The 18-year-old allegedly walked out with the designer silk garment from the Victim store near Carnaby Street on Thursday.
After store staff realised it was missing, they phoned her management firm and Peaches returned to the shop and apologised.
Police were not called and the teenager told the owner it was all a "simple misunderstanding".
Peaches had gone into the store accompanied by a TV crew who were filming her for a reality show.
A source close to her dad Sir Bob said what followed was just an innocent mix-up. The source added: "The dress was on a counter with her scarf, bag and coat and after the shoot, she scooped up the stuff and ran for her next appointment. The shop management were quite justifiably p***** off but it was an innocent mistake and she later paid for the dress."
Last night, Nazinna Douglas, manager of Victim, said: "She can get everything she wants for free. To her taking a dress means nothing but it's not something we take lightly. This is our livelihood. It's just not fair."
But a spokesperson for Peaches' company Insanity Talent Management hit back, saying: "The claim is totally incorrect.
"Peaches has a receipt for the supposedly stolen dress. It was an honest mistake at the time and she went back to the store having been told the dress was missing. She most definitely has not been shoplifting and nothing has been reported to the police."

I think Peaches is genuine when her "persons" give the statement. But the shop person is sure that she stole the dress.
thanks for sharing.

It sounds a bit like when she "accidentally" walked out of Topshop without paying, and, again, 'forgot' to pay...

^ My friend knows Peaches and although he says she's a nice enough person to talk to, she's apparently pretty up on herself and wild ( not in the good way).
From what he's told me this doesn't surprise me at all. Still, I'm not saying it's true for a second. I dunno her.

i usually give these stories the benefit of doubt but in this case she ACTUALLY paid for the dress later on, so she obviously did intend to KEEP IT

^ I think both of the girls have a thing about being " bad". Apparently Pixie Geldof puts on a wig and trashes shops with her friends ( that's probably complete BS but I read that in a paper and it had pictures of her in the wig. Totally ridiculous if it's true!)
I think they kinda live for the rush. Still, I was told by my friend that Peaches was actually getting down to earth and more mature now, in a way.
If this is true though, she's definitely still a stupid girl imo.

Would I be wrong to interpret this as meaning one should be extremely cautious in naming children after fruit?

I think she probably stole it. Reminds me of this weekend when I saw a guy get stopped for stealing a pair of shoes at a store. He had put them in his backpack and when the security stopped him he said he was going to pay for them, he just was holding them in the bag.

And if she has a receipt for the dress its because she paid for it after she had taken it, no? Nice spin though on the part of her PR. Though isn't this the 3rd time she's done this?

And these are only the "misunderstandings" we're hearing about ... I'm sure there must be more that were hushed up altogether.

Sir Bob needs to get this one some serious help ...
