Star Jones Announces That She Is Quitting The View

In case anyone cares....Star announced that she won't be back to The View next season on the air this morning. Her co-stars acted surprised by the news, but I think the key word is "acted".

So totally not surprised...but methinks the View will go downhill after the departure of all these key players. People might tune in to see Rosie bitch....it's going to be interesting to see Rosie try to get along with three other women on a talk show.

I think they should replace Star with Tyra Banks

Never liked Star Jones. Couldn't care less. She's crazy, weird, a b*tch, anything and everything.

But when I WOULD occasionally watch that show, I did like Meredith. I thought she and Joy Bahar were perfect for that show.

Apparently she's telling People magazine now that she was fired. They did'nt renew her contract for the tenth season, and now that she told that to People, ABC told her to not even return today to the show, even though she was supposed to stay till mid July or something. Star really isn't the winner in this one....

It's true!!!! Star is GONE! They took her out of the opening credits already, and Barbara Walters announced that her contract was not renewed. She said that they were going to keep it private, but that Star chose to go to People magazine and say that she was fired. This is crazy! Barbara was choking down tears and then they went to commercial break.
