When you're performing and something goes wrong, I think that what most of them have been taught to do is not make the situation worse but keep on going with their performace - I think that's what they did. I remember I read something about Beyonce doing nearly the same thing at some other performance and no one helped her either.
Ah, showbiz. :P
It's still damn funny, though. Haha.
