I came to know McLellan mostly through POP magazine and i have to say at first i wasnt impressed at all,his work didn't intrigue me but years later i have grown more and more in love with his work.
What you said is so true, he gives room to the model and styling and setting, i never ever get that he is pretentious or going to faar and not being himself. His photographs feel honest to me, he has a great talent for portraying "real" feelings and making you take note and like them for what they are.
And you are welcome, i was surprised he didnt have a thread alredy.
