While this editorial is hands-down the best thing Vogue has done all year, I think it pales in comparison to Vogue's 1998 Christmas special which had Shalom Harlow starring in "The 12 Days of Christmas." Does anyone remember this? It was truly a tour de force!
Not so keen on the choices for the roles, but it is Vogue so I'm not going to complain. Otherwise, the story was absolutely stunning. The mood, the imagination;great composed ethereal photography in all its muted undertones and beautiful expressions. The scenario was actually the best thing I've seen in Vogue for a while. A long while. And it actually sparked images of Tim Burton. The images were pure visual stimulation.
