prior to this thread, I hadn't ever heard of Francesco Vezzoli ... but his look caught my eye, and i googled him and have spent the better part of the past hour reading bits and pieces of him. he's certainly a Warhol progeny, with wild ideas and an obsession with celebrity. his work with Verushka would probably interest many here. i would bet that he'll be viewing this thread, at some point. he likely sees his own celebrity as a fascinating and awkward affair.

you should try and find the series of blogs that he did for the New York Times in For The Moment. really very fascinating!

Interesting.

The only thing I'm not hyped about is the feature on Chanel menswear. They have to transcend its mediocrity. As much as it is a respected label in womenswear, I do not think it's doing enough for its menswear range.
