^well, it is a cover...

My opinion: the cover is provocative...obviously, look at the reaction. I like it!

She doesn't move like a traditionalfemale model. She's sort of contained in movement, similar to a male model. Her distinctive choices maintain interest. Even if it's her instinct lading the way, it's still smart...probably encouraged.

i don't really like it.

I like freja, but the hair + her weird expression + she's naked... not my taste at all...

I love love love Freja but as of late, shes not impressing me
isn't that part of her appeal?...the whole androgyny thing.... why does her image have to be feminised? ...to me the whole point is that she has this androgynous bad-*** thing going on....and i think she feels completely comfortable in that space, it seems... that's the kind of work i like best from her because i think it seems more authentic and her attitude really comes through. all these 'pretty' girly images of her are nice but they lack the spark that an image like this has imo. i don't understand why she is any less of a girl because of her body type and haircut....

don't see how this could be "awful" i mean it's certainly not even 1/2 as bad as Hilary's Vogue Germany cover

I completely agree and I think you made your point quite well. The amazing thing about Freja is that she can pull off both the ultra femme look and the androgynous look and not that many models can do that. But covers like this is where she shines through.

She isn't any less of a girl, you're right. Any misunderstanding of the feminine identity as purely one thing or another is stale and regressive. A woman is defined individually, and thank God for that! We can't all fit into one mold, one definition, one expectation. Relatively speaking, when a woman is considered not feminine enough, it is usually a case of discomfort and distance on part of the identifier. Some people choose not to understand expansion and evolution because it can be unnerving and difficult to appreciate. But, in this case, it might just really all come down to subjective taste...and thank God for that too!

Just, NO!
I have this feeling that if it were on US VOGUE, people would say "hate her hair!"
"whats in her hand" ew awful"
