She isn't any less of a girl, you're right. Any misunderstanding of the feminine identity as purely one thing or another is stale and regressive. A woman is defined individually, and thank God for that! We can't all fit into one mold, one definition, one expectation. Relatively speaking, when a woman is considered not feminine enough, it is usually a case of discomfort and distance on part of the identifier. Some people choose not to understand expansion and evolution because it can be unnerving and difficult to appreciate. But, in this case, it might just really all come down to subjective taste...and thank God for that too!
...to me the whole point is that she has this androgynous bad-*** thing going on....and i think she feels completely comfortable in that space, it seems... that's the kind of work i like best from her because i think it seems more authentic and her attitude really comes through. all these 'pretty' girly images of her are nice but they lack the spark that an image like this has imo. i don't understand why she is any less of a girl because of her body type and haircut....
