Rachel Bilson's interview was so shallow and bland that it made me dislike Rachel. Which is funny, because my indifference towards Evan Rachel Wood before I read her interview in Nylon, turned into absolute This-girl-is-awful-you-can't-pay-me-to-see-Across-the-Universe hatred. NYLON: HIRE BETTER WRITERS. And while you're at it, fire everyone on your staff because there is absolutely nothing worth viewing or reading about in this issue.
Rachel's article was indeed horrid. She sounds bland, boring, "blond." However, at least it only made me indifferent, which is bearable. Last month's article "An American in London" made me SO angry. The writer pretty much said Americans have no individuality, only follow trends, and are poseurs. Meanwhile, she elevates London style to a divine level. That writer needs to stop it with the generalizations, especially ones that are not true.
I wish I could cancel my subscription. Rachel Bilson's interview was so shallow and bland that it made me dislike Rachel. Agreed Rachel's one of my favorites in Hollywood but this article just didn't seem like HER if you catch my drift.
I got this issue for free (my first Nylon subscription) but it wasn't as bad as I thought. True, the editorials aren't stunning or even close to fantastic but they have focused a lot more on fashion and its designers than in previous issues.
Then again, this was the spring fashion issue... We shall see what happens next month

^ I think we all would, but we have to realize (and many have) that Nylon has gone on a complete downward spiral (although I hear this issue is a bit surprising )

I don't think it's "surprising" - just an improvement from the last few, in my opinion

I thought I was the only one bothered by that article Glad to know I was wrong.
