what's tacky about them?. if anything, the idea seems extremely cliché. I mean, Salma Hayek = Mexican Hacienda, Penelope Cruz = Flamenco and bullfighter.. they can do better than just pleasing their demographics' cultural issues. I don't question the quality, it's Leibovitz afterall and she's an admittedly gifted photographer but the idea is obnoxiously and absurdly cartoon-ish, not to mention passé. what's next, charlotte gainsbourg eating a baguette and smoking a cigarrete?, lucy liu as a geisha?.

As cliché as it is, I quite like the cover for a change I love penélope so i don't mind seeing her on the cover of Vogue US... And i'm definitely excited to see Daria's ed

Such a terrible cliche..but I guess they had to make it one since the subheading says "Penelope Cruz at home in Madrid"
