There's nothing Brittish about Edita's editorial but it's just amazing. This girl is seriously a stand out model.

they don't stock a lot of Vogue China here... only 2 or 3 issues per newstand/bookstores, because according to the sellers ''they get loads of leftovers''... I thought at Beijing there will be better sales? But I like to collect them, back issues costs only US$2

VC put in tons of effort in making the content good (just check out the thickness), i can't really understand the chinese fully but they spend a lot of $$$ hiring good photographers/stylists, and their editorial team is really professional, I love seeing all their interviews with chinese nationals who are major in other countries like Paris, London, New York... i just hope that their covers can be more intersting, and less Du Juan please.

That's not true. They changed her for the POP cover, the recent Vogue Paris ed and (I think it was) a Vogue UK spring/summer ed where it channeled a sweet, kinda 50s/60s British working class vibe with a male model. But I do agree that most magazines seem to lack imagination where she's concerned.

As for the other eds...Vogue China almost always hits it out of the park with its ed. I'd buy it over the Oct. Vogue Italia issue. Why won't my local Chapters sell it, it's not faaaaaiiiir. :'(

Have you ever been to a British beach?

Josh's ed pretty much captures the feeling

Corinne Day's ed feels a bit boring and lazy. The ed. doesn't give me a feeling of the british country side either. Where are the riding boots? Where's the frumpyness?! And what was Karl Plewka thinking when he put together this outfit

I haven't but I've been to many countries with beaches and these don't look different than French or German beaches, of course does aree not tourist beaches.

But I don't a black witch like figure defines a Beach in England but maybe that's what you meant with the mood. Very dark and not summery at all?

I like the colours and the layout.

"Agyness"looks terrible but what's new, i'm just wondering how many pics more do we need of her with her mouth open with the same expression, it's not her fault I guess, I just would like to know why the hell photographers think she looks good that way, is that suppose to be sexy? a trademark expression? I don't get it,To me it makes her look like an idiot.

British beaches can be very melancholy, especially when the 'summer season' is over and the tourists depart, all the local shops close and people leave to work elsewhere, so you have a ghost town with cold winds and grey clouds.

Though that description sounds more like a Morrissey song - "This is the coastal town that they forgot to close down".

A British beach is a test of character, not a place of entertainment.

I've been on german, english, french, spanish, italian .... beaches ....
but this is not the subject ...

Marcel, I doubt a beach story for a november issue is where you would see a lot of bikinis. except if you live on the other side of the hemisphere.
but once again this is not the subject.
or maybe germans and frenchies just don't get the english codes in this story ?! which is possible in my case.

what strikes me the most is that WHERE ARE THE LONDONERS in this story ?????
one McQueen, one Pugh, one Kane, one McCartney ....
but lots of Ackermann, CDG, Owens etc. and even some italian

anyway. i really looooove it !!!! it's beautiful. yes dark and withcy. but beautiful styling. strong choices for a soft romantic woman.
