I see they're trying to go for a transgressive theme, showing smoking on the cover and giving a "Larry Flynn exclusive". If the photography inside is stunning, I think I can forgive the cover.
Whatever it is that I expected from Carine's team, it wasn't this.

It is not that bad, but I don't like Pete and the line 'le crack du rock' is stupid, maybe it's a french expression, but to me it just looks like they try to be funny about his drug addiction

I like everything about the cover but Pete Doherty. Everything else looks good enough for me, especially the red/black/white. For a first cover, I'm sure they could have used someone more interesting...but I guess they wanted someone who could sell some mags
I think this whole thing is in such bad taste. Why is he even considered to be put on the cover is beyond me.Glorified d*** addict on a cover of a magazine? Please Carine needs to reconsider her strategy, less predictable, scandalous attention grabers and more inspirational men with style.

Not Pete though, I dont hate him or dislike him, I dont know him enough to say so, but I guess I just dont care for him...but I dont like most people with this grungy look...
Emil I agree, VOGUE hommes should be about inspiration & style...I dont think the type of people who Pete will appeal to are likely to want to pick up a vogue
