Is it me or is there something off about the styling on this cover(like I would know)? I scrolled down and saw the top of the cover, a little more and saw her head piece and face, and thought "Wow a medievel theme." Interesting. Then the rest of the cover showed up and all I could think was mermaid. But kudos for the girl for getting a Vogue cover, regardless of what she's wearing.

i like it, so much. it says SUMMER! but it's not a normal idea of colors for summer, i think. i love the background, and the richness of colors, how they coordinate between the clothing and the painting and then Karen's own coloring!!!

She looks ready for synchronized swimming.

But still very pretty, I just think different clothes would have made it a nicer cover.

oh come on guys, you've never seen this kind of cap-hood-hats before?
they are nothing new really

i adore the cover, Karen is such a great model.
as for the colours -which are certainly not your usual summer palette- well,
thats fashion for you now.
remember that ss04 was one of the darkest summers for years
(see Prada, MiuMiu, Gaultier, Molinari etc) dark colours are here to stay for summer.

thats what fashion is all about, introducing the fresh and unexpected.
Kudos to the Vogue Italia super team and to PradaP for posting the fab cover

That's the exact theme this ed evoked in me. All the mods' poses are aquatic and that juxtaposition against the solid polished halls of the Chicago Art Institute (I think that's the building, not sure) is really brilliant!

Karen on the cover and everyone else on the inside look great!
