I keep thinking that too! I felt Chanel deserved a solo cover long before the 'Black Issue' because of how much she's accomplished. Regardless of what her haters feel about her. So its a sort of bitter sweet feeling seeing all of these black covers and seeing 'black beauty' printed somewhere on the cover. It just isn't necessary! We know she's black and she's a model, which means she's most likely very beautiful. I'm hoping Kinee gets a Vogue cover to because she also deserves it. But I'm happy for Chanel, to be a young woman of color and hold her own for the most part as soon as she arrived on the fashion scene with a high head I have to give her much due props.
