Just saw the copies that have arrived into UK today at work and unfortunately they do not contain the calendar.

My hype for this issue had pretty much died. My adoration for the calendar had convinced me that the entire issue was amazing, but now after looking through this thread again I must admit I'm disappointed with the issue.

I dislike the cover. It's too similar to Sofia's, and Stephanie comes off looking so tense on the cover. I rather see her relaxed, and glowing with that effortless beauty that every princess should have. I also dislike her editorials. Stephanie just does not know how to model or work her face, or at least here she does not. And I do not understand why she must do a Caroline jump in Testino's editorial. It's just so random for her to do. I suppose Vogue Paris was trying to show Stephanie in a new light, something different from Pirncess, but unfortunately I don't like it.

The fashion editorials are disappointing as well. I do not appreciate this 80's styling that seems to be slowly creeping into Vogue Paris.

Even the En Vogue is lacking.

If I can buy the calander by itself, I will. But the actual issue itsel has hardly anything to offer me.

^ i've been disappointed, too ...

but i still don't understand the comparison btw this cover and the Sofia Copolla one ... so I thought I was lacking of memory ... then I looked back at it .... And except the fact both girls are benched down and the photos is b&w ... I really don't find any ressemblance ...c'mone Sofia is all about light and smile ... and Stéphanie is all about dark and mistery ... iMo that's a huge difference .... at least for me ....

Stéphanie needn't VP for that ... She's already a marginal princess ... I think they show the 'real' Stéphanie .... showing her as a Princess would have been non-sense !

but yeah the Testino's ed is a total miss, imo ... I hate it !

I feel that I'd buy this issue anyway, because without it, the wait until February 09 will seem interminable. But it'll be a purchase made from ritual rather than excitement.

No calendar for export copies, ah well, at least I know not to expect one now.

Overall there is nothing wrong with the fashion eds. But in the end this issue is dissapointing.
