I think the cover and Anna's edit were originally shot for Vogue Paris and somehow they didn't get to use it.
Or Carine just wants to do something for Vogue Russia because of her Russian roots?

Meisel is also working only for 2 mags: Italia Vogue ( mostly) and US Vogue, but you remember his spread and cover for W oct 2004 and march 2008 Ru Vogue... its like an exception for good money)
