i think ellen was a great choice. i'd also like to see her on the cover of vogue.

i do like her dress sense as well.

i like the unexpectedness of this cover choice... i was really surprised when i read the title of the thread!

and i think she looks lovely on the cover... a bit glammed up but not far out of her comfort zone...

i'm looking forward to the interview more than any of the other celeb interviews in the past year... i find her much more interesting

Refreshing cover, and I'm waiting to see what is inside.

I don't really have an opinion about her, better than Jessica Simpson or someone like that being on cover though.

Lol at the Faded Youth: Best blog ever? thing!

I like the colours and lighting on the cover but I don't find the cover girl one bit attractive. Is she very popular in the USA?

I'll be bying this issue just for Lapo.

ellen has a popular talk show. it's very easy to watch. nothing offensive or cutting edge. it's very suburban. lots of people watch. she's like a second-rate Oprah, minus the humanitarian thing.

I had high hopes for the cover this being the March issue, you know a model or an interesting celeb and this shot does nothing for me - not very exciting. However, I love Ellen and she interests me so that will motivate me to buy the magazine. I am hoping for some knock out editorals.

I really like Ellen and her show and I really like W but I hate to admit that I don't like this cover too much. Why couldn't they make her look like herself? They could have done better with the cover, but I still like the fact that they chose her.

unexpected choice, but it turned out quite nicely
i don't think her talk show is that funny, but i saw some of her stand up comedy on tv and it was so hilarious
she seems lovely from her interview
