What collection do you feel is going to be used in Editorials the most this season?

fall 07 I thought that nina ricci white dress wouldnt go away and those big dolce Gabanna belts

FRom s/s 08 the Dolce gabanna dress was everywhere! and prada and Balenciaga..

But from the season that just finish what do you think is editorial potential?

I think for fw 08 Balenciaga again will be in almost every editorial..and Prada, I could see Dior and alot of things , like a rich girl theme and
this by lanvin ...maybe

style

and even this

style

and I could see some of the Roberto Cavalli dresses on covers

These Goth looks can be editorial worthy

between lanvin, rodarte, mcqueen and probably givenchy for more mainstream pubs.

CdG,Vivienne,Margiela,Boudicca,Tao and Rick Owens will probably be used alot more in mags like i.D.,purple and self service though. the indie sort.

i also predict of the smaller talents in that aforementioned vein, richard nicoll, lutz and emma cook....they did beautiful clothes that would be deemed visually appealing as well.

The usual suspects that get coverage no matter what they produce (Balenciaga,Lanvin.etc)i just resent the buisness of how they use clothes for editorials its all so bloody political.

Prada ,Balenciaga, Lanvin, Rodarte, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Givenchy, etc. I would looooove to shoot an editorial with the rodarte and givenchy collections.

Regardless of how disliked the collections are, Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana, Balenciaga, and Prada are always the ones chalked in almost every editorial.

I would like to see more Lanvin and Givenchy though.

I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of features on oddly shaped and cut pants...like at Galliano, YSL, Vuitton etc etc....

Lovely thread...
I think that the Lanvin coat in the first post is going to be quite popular...along with the first few exits at Balenciaga (he really showed the best LBD's of the season).

These printed Versace dresses will show up quite a bit me thinks....

Versace FW08

Christopher Kane FW08...we haven't seen much of his work covered in editorials since his SS07 debut....but much of his collection has alot of editorial potential

Viktor & Rolf FW08.....
