Ooh, what a great campaign that was! It's from fall 1998, Kelsey. I remember it quite fondly.

On another note, does anyone remember Sunniva Stordahl? She's in that Versace ad all the way to the left. Here are some more pics:

Here's another classic Versace campaign from spring/summer 1999. Versace ads were so much better back then! It really hasn't been the same since the spring 2001 ads (which were astonishing, IMO).

haha! Well that's spring 1999 for you. It's amazing to think how much fashion has changed in not even five years. I still have a few Vogues, Bazaars, and Elles from 1998 and 1999. I flip through them every once in a while for a moment of nostalgia. Fashion seemed less complicated back then, for some reason.

And I really miss seeing Sunniva on the catwalk.

I agree that these older Versace ad's are much better than their more recent ones. I think the CA ones are better than more recent campaigns but not as good as these more classic ones.

I think the Avedon images were the best they ever did (and some of the best fashion images ever) with the original supers like Linda, Naomi, Christy, Cindy, Claudia, Helena, Stephanie etc.
