I am also really interested in light itself, especially the physics behind it and how it is used in theatre and live music events. It's amazing how light can affect the vibe of an environment and our moods. Would it be okay if we also explored these areas as well in this thread?

hmmm... regarding the concert and theater lighting I'm guessing that should probably be a thread unto itself..
i think of this thread as more of a place to display actual fixtures...

a thread on light design could be good if you would like to start one!
there's definitely a lot of different kind of thought and technique thaht goes into that sort of thing...
