Mine too! I love it!
I'm only able to read the translated volumes, but I've read 1-4 and am so hooked. Have you met Kon yet? He's so cute.

I can't wait until my bookstore actually has Volume 5.

Yeah, Bleach is great. I've only seen the translated episodes via bit torrent. I spent all day watching it so now I'm up to episode 45??? Dunno what chapter that is in the manga. Kon IS cute but he doesn't make that many appearances later on.

Kinda random but, I really would love to see a live-action rendition of Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Thoughts of a North American cast would be...

"The Major" Motoko- Angelina Jolie (with the help of some makeup, she could be transformed into a halfie... that is, half Japanese, to make more sense :P)

Batou - Ving Rhames

Saito - Benjamin Bratt (or Rick Yune)

Togusa - Christian Bale

"The Chief" Aramaki - Ian McKellen (or Donald Sutherland)

Ishikawa - Hiroyuki Sanada

Man, if this were made into a live-action series, with that kind of cast! It would have the potential to be one of the most successful, engaging and stylish series to ever grace American television!!! But then again, I'm just dreaming

- Cheers

Only seen Ghost in the Shell: Innocence (and didn't get it much because I'm dumb but it was creepy and crazy animation) but Angelina Jolie has a halfie??? Oy, that's tough. She looks like a whole different race in herself. :P Do they show Stand Alone Complex on T.V.?

BTW, for Monster fans, they're making an Amerian, live-action Monster movie to be released in around 2007. Hopefully it will be good, otherwise I will be outraged. I can't imagine who is handsome/scary enough to play Johan. :/ Monster has some really great and orginal characters so it would be difficult casting the right actors.

^ Thanks for the info cookymonster! I just hope they'll keep the locations (Germany, Czech Republic) which imho added lot of atmosphere to the story. It wouldn't be imho the same at all if i.e. the action took place in LA or NYC...
Also, I'd like to see an asian actor to play Tenma!

I admit it is mine too. great plots twists and good soundtrack too.
I have followed lots of the japanese bands who play their songs before Bleach came about, and it's awesome to see the recongnition.
and they dress well too!

For Bleach fans: there is a ROCK MUSICAL in Japan based on Bleach. WTF. What do they even sing about??? But the costumes and actors look pretty good!

Chad and Uruhara are the best, IMO. Renji is surprisingly good too, even with his crazy anime hair and tattoos. :P Orhime looks just like every Japanese girl you would see on the street but she's pretty. At least she doesn't have those scary big boobs tho. :/

Ninja Scrolls was the first anime movie I had ever seen. It definately a little disturbing at times, but the story and art are amazing. Plus the setting is old, like a classic ninja story, no futuristic stuff which is another reason why I really liked it. Be warned, though, its VIOLENt.

I just kinda began watching anime, and more of the "mainstream" ones.

What anime do you love to watch? Naruto, Bleach, Prince of Tennis , Trinity Blood, Kenshin, mostly the mainstream ones.

What manga do you love to read? None really, sometimes Naruto.

What do you recommend? I really loved Noir.

What's the first one you saw/read? Ronin Warriors

These Lanvin adverts were inspired by Manga...

Quote:
Inspired by the mangas, the visuals from the Spring-Woman
Summer 2006 advertising campaign translate faithfully the ultra-graphics of the collection : obi belts, touches of origami, orchid or cherry blossom embroideries, zips with brightly coloured trims...

Credits: Gazillion in the S/S 06 Ad thread, who got them from Lanvin.com
