What a nice idea for a thread anna k! I like post #6 too. I think the second pic is by Georges Lepape...it look like his signature. I really like the Art Deco period because the work is so varied and there's something for everyone.

i love the old illustrated vogue covers! especially the second one and the second to last one.

anna k, the first ones you posted, the ones that don't have an illustrator name..
those are AMAZING! if anyone ever figures out who they are, i'd be forever indebted.

I them. My bedroom walls are covered with early 20th century french fashionillustration prints. They look quite cool, well at least I think so.

How did I miss this thread?! Fantastic illustrations everyone! Love anything 20s, art deco or art nouveau so this is right up my alley. I have vintage 20s & art deco prints plastered on my walls as well tiamaria.
Only managed to drudge up a few I saved, my picture folders are a sorry mess. They're great for design inspiration.
