BCXSY’s See-Saw Bookshelf

Quote:
Every book tells its own story. Every book has its own weight. By playing with balance, the See-Saw bookshelf visualizes the breadth of our home libraries.
Is Kafka truly heavier than the latest issue of Vogue?..

Materials: American Walnut wood with powder coated steel parts

Livio de Marchi's "Casa di Libri" - entire house made to look like it was made out of books.

I love the random, sloppy, vintage, worn bookshelf look the most. The precise geometric modern ones don't appeal as much.

When I get to have my own house someday, I would definitely be considering the Shelving system by Massimo Mariani for Targa Italia.
