Hans Arnold (born in Sursee, Switzerland, 22 April 1925) is an artist, living and working in Sweden since 1948. He has made illustrations for many magazines and books. He is best known for his illustrations for the Bland tomtar och troll books.
Arnold had a very strict Catholic education, with strong belief in heaven and hell. Arnold began drawing caricatures of his teachers in school and sold them to his friends.

As a child I fell inlove with Hans Arnold imaginative illustrations, in particularly with one book - I loved so much that I lend it over and over again at my local library... somehow I forgot the title of the book.. but the images stayed with me..
Last month I found the book by chance 'Most Beloved Sister' or as the title reads in Swedish 'Allrakäraste syster'.. and I had a hard time containing my excitement.
