Please help me with my custom made dining table!

Hi guys and girls

I am having my dining table made but am having some troubles with the colours and matching it to my kitchen. Our home is very modern with a white glossy finish kitchen cupboards and black Caesarstone benchtop. We've got timer flooring throughout the house and are having our dining table custom made.

This is the table style and chairs I had in mind. Except the center part of the table top will be black Caesarstone and the chairs will be in black lather. Do you think this will go nicely with our white kitchen cupboards (black Caesarstone benchtops)?

Ideally I would like the table and chair wooden frame to be painted white glossy paint but this isnt practical as the paint would chip very easily

and black lather, do you mean leather? also what is timer flooring. sorry for appearing so clueless...

do you have any stainless steel appointments in the kitchen?

black leather makes sense for the chairs and if you do the center of the table in black it might be a nice compliment to the white cupboards to do a glossy white finish on the wood portions of the table. but this is a very high contrast look.

I was thinking if there was stainless steel anywhere it might be neat to pick it up in the table in place of the wood.

iLoveCouture, thanks from me too. I bookmarked the link so when we upgrade our countertops it is another option to granite.

Sweetnsimple, my house is very modern too. Kitchen has white cupboars (not glossy) and the tops/benchtops are like some fake marble. We don't have a table though, we have a kitchen island..
But I can see how you're feeling, if I were you I would definitely have the chairs in black leather.
It will go briliantly with the kitchen. Also don't forget accesorries to the kitchen!

No, no stainless steel appliances, mainly glass, black and white, and timber flooring.

Thank you all for your feedback

So you you think light coloured wooded frame would look nice with the black and white kitchen? Also, because the table frame is light we will have to go for a darker colour timber flooring so the table doesnt get "lost" in the floor....
