however, i don't know if you can use it on a wooden frame or not. my guess is you can, b/c it seems like you can use it on just about anything. otherwise i would suggest using some kind of clear varnish to waterproof the would.
i'm gonna try it
hopefully it works
i do hear even when you're painting wood you should seal it, like with gesso... and then you sand it down

thank you! i was unsure to post for so long. it is fabric!! it was canvas, that i hand painted to make it look like denim (as a symbolism to people), the acrylic made it stiff!!
the first one i did it very fashionably, i did it hammering it against a rocky beach. but i didn't want the sun to give me weird makrs, so i did it in my swimsuit!! imagine a tiny girl in a swimsuit with a hammer kicking the crap out of a canvas

What kind of finish do you want to give your frame?
Gesso would totally make the frame lose it's wooden essence.

oh i am making screen prints... stencils
i will stretch a fabric over the wooden frame --i need the wood for its durability, so it doesn't matter if it doesn't look like wood afterwards not for aesthetic purposes
