There is a woman who lives in my suburban city that also has this sort of look.

One sees her bicycling in a very 60's getup, and a beehive perm. With a perpetual tan.

The man in the suit, and pipe is alright but everyone else is of dubious distinction. I suspect they are trying to get an Anna Piaggi look without much substance.

^ I agree! She reminds me of Grace Coddington sort of. Anyway, most NYers, like the population of every other city, are NOT stylish. Was this article supposed to showcase good taste or just the different things people are wearing? I wouldn't wear any of this stuff, but if it makes these people happy to put it on, then whatever.
