I would have given an awful stare to all of these people if I saw them walking the streets.. what's with the girl who's wearing the white bed sheets in the second photo...

Passione was just expressing his/her opinion, which I think is totally valid. I agree that at least most of these people tried to put their own touches on these outfits and make them their own. I think that's what's important. It looks like they at least tried to put SOMETHING together.

Even if they tried, they failed miserably. But I don't think they tried, I think they opened a Bazaar, looked at the 938 MUST HAVES and copied it.

i think that the editors were looking for colourful outfits that would pop off the page or screen...which is sometimes hard to find in NYC...and probably why these are not that indicative of the 'typical' ny style...

ps...everyone basically wears a lot of denim all the time...where's the denim???
