Oh right! Thanks for explaining.
I don't usually think about sizes when i'm looking at what someone is wearing. If they look cute they look cute! Shouldn't matter if its 'tiny' or if its 'plus' in my opinion

I don't consider the girls in #43 and #44 to be plus-sized at all. They look like a normal weight to me.

Sadly enough, those were the largest girls on the entire site. But, what do you consider plus-size? For me, it's US size 12 or higher.

I really would NOT consider a US size 12 plus sized. It is in fact the size the majority of american woman are therefore making it the average size. I'm not going to go offtopic but it is an indicator of how sizist we are becoming if a size 12 is a plus. To me a plus sized person is anyone who has to go into a plus sized section or a plus sized store to get their clothing. So it's difficult because places like Gap go up to size 20 and some stores stop at 12. I would say 16+ is plus sized.

16+ is OK with me. I dunno, I'm bigger than a 12, but I don't think that it's necessarily OK that the average size is 12. And it also depends on the person. I know someone who's a 16, and they look smaller than some people who are a 12.

I'd say that she appears to be about a 14? Regardless, I think that she looks cute.

Nice thread - I don't think its bad that "bigger" girls (or guys for that matter?) have been singled out.

If anything it could be more inspiring to those that feel that because they aren't a 0 they should wear shapeless bland clothing.

I'm a UK 14/16 which is a US 10/12 I think, and some people probably think I'm hideous, others would think I'm gorgeous.

It takes all sorts guys!

If you don't consider these girls "plus-size", then sorry. Finding pictures is hard, and even these were few and far between.

Thanks xmodel. I get the impression from these pictures that many chubbier girls feel like they have to put on a costume to be "stylish". Any thoughts?

^Well, for the Helsinki and London looks, they kinda just fit in with everyone else. Their looks fit the looks that I saw on other people on the same sites.

I don't understand why we need a plus sized style thread... Style can also be found on a "smaller" person, and be adapted to any body size. Also, i don't mean to offend anyone, but I do not think it is OK to say ( even though it is true )that the average american woman is a size 12. It sounds like an excuse, and if anything, it should open our eyes to what is going on with our society. We now have these 2 extremes, either size 00 or size 12. What happened to a healthy size in between these two??
