^Prob around $1000, give or take (depending on size and neighborhood of course). It IS very expensive to live there... not only is living expensive, but so is everything else for some reason... drinks, food, etc. BUT IT IS sooo worth living there, if only to experience it for a short time.

where do you plan on going to school?

it's expensive, but so is every urban city nowadays. it's 100000% worth it. i live here and every time i go out i feel so lucky to be here (and i've been here all my life!). there's just something about it.

so here are some from fecal face (art scene in san francisco). more or less this is the street style. more stress for unexpected weather and comfort than labels generally rule in SF. chill.

whoa, i went to dvc when i was in high school (i'm from concord, now SF, which is about 20-30 mins away). it's a really good school actually, i was very happy with it.

just a question, is dvc a popular international school? because there are A LOT of international students here, mostly from japan and and tons from russia.

i love the art kids crowd- funny but comfortable seems to be the staple. i love the boot shaped shot glass mug.

well- it looks like i'll be getting my MFA in San Fran, so I'm going to start gathering bits for colder weather. any suggestions for things that are must-haves? should i buy a trench?

hah, you can buy anything, lately it's been pretty nice. a lot of people around here wear trench's. i see this man on the train every morning. get's on in his black dior homme trench and sunglasses, all pompous. he makes me want to have a trench and be pompous. i should try and get a picture of him.

scarves are popular too. chunkier the better.

brokenlo - do you have a digital camera? maybe take some time to go to different neighborhoods (one day: castro; the next: noe valley) and take a bunch of shots. i don't live in the city anymore, otherwise i would have done that ages ago

the fecal face pictures are nice, but i love the ones with a more personal touch, taken by our own members!
