I was at Barcelona till last Monday, what a lovely place While I was there I took some pictures around the city and at Sonar music festival, not very bright but still...
I've been obsessed with all things Spanish since I came back from a media junket to Madrid. Coming from Singapore where girls look like a replica of one another, I was floored by the sheer diversity and originality Spaniards pull off so effortlessly!
I think god decided to deprive Asia of beautiful and stylish people and plonk them all in one place. Here are some photos I snapped secretly.
Planning to go to Madrid, Barcelona & Salamanca in Oct, can't wait!
¡Bienvenida, lazyzee!
Thank you for sharing your photos, beso!

I have never been to Spain before, but I love speaking in Spanish.
I'm so happy to have stumbled across the thread.
The best way to be a part of the culture is to study the fashion.
Hope to be a regular in this thread!

Great pictures, ladyzee - they're very sharp and clear. Looks like the style (with ladies, at least) are light fabrics and loose-fitting dresses, which makes sense with Spain's climate. I suppose the woman in ladyzee's last photo is an exception, unless the picture was taken on a cooler day!
I can't wait for you to trip ladyzee and snap us some Fall fashions por las calles de España.

I know those people in the pictures hehe, and I have to say as livng in MAdrid that there is a great mix of styles here, from emo kids, to ladylike women, as mostly everywhere, what i think is that people in northern europe goes for the comfy and 80's or modern style, and from france to the south people go more for the ladylike, or ladylike urban, more classy/classic, and not so many layers.

Yep, Spanish are pretty much into light dresses, sleeveless tees and shorts... in summer that the best u can put on to survive in the heat!
And I agree with ladyzee in the fact that there are many different styles and trends, so u don't get bored of looking at the people's loooks!

You will get disapointed, i was there a few weeks ago, and I saw like 2-3 nice outfits there. And I have been there many times. Maybe the well-dressed decided to stay home those days.
