i have to add this is a great resource for all, especially those who are looking into schooling and fashion careers. i never ever look at any other online message boards set up for advice about portfolios, universities etc. so i think this is a good meeting place for people searching for answers to have to chance to speak with those w/ some experience (me) to those already in the business.

we are 're-introducing' the "so you want to be a model" thread which together with most 'model career' related topics got recently moved from out Supporting Cast forums to tFS Careers and Education section.
In welcoming the thread we want to remind you that with model career threads we aims on supplying and exchange experiences information on model agencies, bookers, castings and how to 'become' a model related questions/info in general.

We will ask you to kindly stay on topic and avoid casual chatting on personal manner. Please keep all our modeling related topics on professional inquiries basis and note that non related posts will be surely (and quickly) edited..
In respect of the staying on topic we will ask you to use tFS PM and/or Chat features for interacting with fellow members on a "hi-buddy) personal level.

Underage photos remain strictly prohibited as do inquiries of advice on a personal level eg:
Quote:
i'm 15 and here is my pic, can i become a famous model or not?'
please note that braking those specific tFS will be ...awarded with 'warning' penaltie(s), which unquestionably put your tFS member status in question.

With the help of tFS resident professional models and 'experts' from most sections of modeling related 'industry', we hope to create a directory of 'model agencies to avoid' as well as professionally targeted topics in order to transform our topics to 'tools' for all aspiring tFSmodels-to-be launching on a safe and respectable modeling career.

i hate boring you guys but once again i need to bring to your attention that you need to search existing threads before you post any new ones..
doing this you will get more replies to your question in hand and you will save us merging time

*since most issues on schools and careers have already been addressed please use tFS search engine before posting any new topic, or your 'fresh' thread will soon be merged with an existing topic
*for all industry related inquiries (eg. needing models, designers, collaborations or interns) please use our 'wanted' thread

thank you for taking this in concideration
