For quite some time now i've been wondering about pursuing a job in the fashion industry.
I've heard is a competive industry and im not quite sure yet if i want too do it .
I have three questions :
What Kind of education path would be best .
Do you have to intern while in college.
What kind of intrest would one need other than fashion

Fashion Editor can mean something different to other people, but it usually refers to the person responsible for the styling ... an in house stylist. So a creative background is needed. If you are thinking about journalism ... writing articles and editing other's work ... then it's a different approach. If you are wanting to run a magazine ... Editor in Chief is the title and that requires a combo on sharp business skills, management skills and a good eye for fashion too.

So ... what, specifically did you mean when you said Fashion Editor?

I did an advanced search for you (See the Member Support forums for a thread about how to do this, something every member needs to know) ... to find detailed information regarding each of these subjects:

1. Education needed to get into magazines
2. Interning
3. Career path . getting work at a magazine and getting to the top
4. Various Careers in Magazines
