Language on Mulberry Street is a good place to find Chloe, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Clements Ribeiro and the Language line. They are having a 60-80% off warehouse sale at the moment.
Alexander McQueen has a great shop in the Meatpacking District, along with Stella (two doors down).
Intermix (three locations) and Scoop are also good places to shop.
There are numerous sample sales going on at the moment so there are great bargains to be had. Sample Sales

Hey, Pete, stop giving away my favorite spots!!!
Just kidding. Those stores are awesome.
I would also suggest Camouflage in Chelsea and Commes Des Garcons boutique. And another store that noone seems to go into is called Untitled - it's on W8th street in the Village. They have Helmut Lang, Margiela, Bikkimbergs, Gaultier, Westwood...
Sorry!
Haven't been to untiltled... A new Margiela spot is always great. I thought Westwood was not in the city after they closed their Greene street store, but I guess I was wrong.
Camouflage is nice and very tasteful.

You might be right about Westwood. I was so surprised to see the store closing (especially after I applied for a job in response to their posting JUST ONE WEEK BEFORE!)
Yea, check Untitled out. I go there for Dirk Bikkimbergs, because it's the only store that carries him in the entire NYC (which I think is absurd).
And, oh, yea, HOW could I forget!!! BAGUTTA, one of my favorite stores (they just moved from W.Broadway to Greene street, next door to Helmut Lang). It's like mini Jeffreys!
Men: Dior, Watanabe, Dolce,Prada,Hlam,Neil Barrett,Ann Demeulemeester,Galliano
Women: Dior,Watanabe,Dolce,Ann,Galliano,Cavalli,Rochas, etc... +They have the best sales in NYC.
Yeah Faust!! I totally blanked on Bagutta... Just recently grabbed a classic 100% cashmere, black-skinny lapelled Dior Homme overcoat for 70% off. I saved ALOT on that one!
Best,
Pete
